I was on the lookout for a holiday escape with my friend, away from the busy city life, and having heard of the beautiful Crete Island in Greece, decided on it as my vacation destination. I wanted this holiday to be special and a surprise for my friend. Getting accommodation was not a problem, with number of Crete hotels available for both luxurious stay to affordable budget hotels. I settled for a beach resort in the Heraklio island of Crete from an amazing list of Crete hotels, spread in all the regions of the island. Everything just turned out well and I was happy to see the smile on my friend’s face after arriving in Crete. The island is the most romantic place I have ever visited with its beautiful landscapes, long beaches, charming towns and villages all leave you mesmerized. I had a wonderful time throughout my stay and even shifted my hotel on n another island. But the crete hotels definitely are amazing and excellent modern facilities.

A trip to Athens was an experience of a lifetime and reserving one of the Athens hotels for my upcoming tour to Athens was an absolute delight. I had my rooms booked through many of the online reservation sites and found them satisfactory as they offered me a price, which was less then what my travel agent was offering. I found the hotel beautiful, with a touch of the ancient city history and importantly a warm atmosphere, which gave me a feel that I am in the comfort of my home. Athens city has always remained in the center of attraction were it in the past or today when it is the capital city of Greece. The city is blessed with some of the oldest ancient histories, and a great place to experience the Greek culture. The weather was pleasant and I started by visiting the famous Acropolis and got a peek in to the Greek architecture. Agora market was another place, which I could not miss, the center of business and commercial activity of the city and the place where Socrates gave his speeches. Besides enjoying visiting the other places in the city, I relished the Greek food. My athens hotels served as a good base for touring the city, as it was centrally located and provided with some excellent facilities.
